Basics of Revit
Get hands-on with the basics of Revit for architectural design. In Part 1 of this course you will learn about the fundamental concepts of architecture and the associated skills you will need to design your own buildings supported by deeper explanations into concepts and building tectonics at a residential scale. This course will provide you with a good conceptual understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across modeling categories of walls, doors, windows, and roofs to provide you with confidence in creating your own design projects and sharing them with others. BIM is fast becoming the industry standard for architectural design and construction modeling due to its superior ability to integrate project data across the full range of architectural documents.

The following activities are designed to be supplemental content you can use to connect careers and college readiness to the other subject areas you may teach. They are not necessarily standalone lessons, but could be adapted if there is a specific content area addressed which is a need for your group.
Each lesson is designed to require minimal supplies and should only take 10-15 minutes to complete. Your job is to connect the content taught previously to the activity relating to a college or career ready skill.
