Learning Objective

To identify larger themes and topics presented in the literature we read and explore the real-world implications of those themes and topics.  Students will be able to identify larger themes in the text that emerge and connect those to experiences that occur outside the text.  Students will be able to further explore, challenge and interact with how these themes work outside the text.

When searching for websites, you may want to pay attention to the following to find good sites.

1)  look for websites ending in .edu, .org, or .gov

2)  check the "about" section to see who is providing the information

3)  compare information found in this source to your other sources
