Welcome to the Benson Library!

Student Responsibilities in the Library

Upon entering the library, students are responsible for maintaining a respectful library. 

Before/After School and Lunch Responsibilities

     *Food and drinks are not allowed.  Unflavored colorless water is okay, but not near computers.

     *Remain seated unless you are browsing for materials.

     *Maintain a low voice volume.

     *Pencils and paper are available.  Markers, crayons, colored pencils, calculators, scissors and glue are available for checkout.

      Games are also available for checkout.

School Day Responsibilities

     *Follow all responsibilities for before/after school and lunch.

    *During the school day you must have a pass from your teacher.  Be sure to write your name, teacher you came from and the time on the sign in sheet.

     *Students must be focused on an academic task.  Games are not allowed unless specifically directed by a teacher in the library.

     *Watch your time.  Passes back to class will not be given in the first or last 10 minutes of class.
