Managed Software Center

OPS makes a large number of common apps available to staff that you can install with just a single click.

Self-Serve apps are available through the Managed Software Center, which can be found in your Applications folder. You can also click the search icon in the top right of the screen and type Manage and open it that way. It’ll look like one of the two following screens depending on which version of macOS your laptop has:

Once opened, you’ll see something like the below screenshot. Exactly what you see will vary from school to school. Any of these apps can be installed and automatically added to your Dock by clicking INSTALL.

Want a shortcut to Infinite Campus added directly to your Dock? GoNoodle? Aesop? IXL? NWEA? Imagine Learning? Just click INSTALL.

You can also remove things you don't want anymore. Don’t need Google Earth? Go ahead and click REMOVE.
As shown below, if you click on UPDATE for Firefox the application will fully install the updated version without prompting for any administrative password.

Please note Self-Serve Apps are only available on staff computers, students do not have access.
