Classroom Spotlight

Padlet: An Alternative to Posters

This month we'd like to shine a spotlight on Hilary Gjorka at Morton Magnet Middle School.  As a culminating activity to the various persuasive techniques her students had been working on, she wanted them to create a PSA.  This usually entails creating a poster and delivering a speech.  Hilary opted to embrace technology and teach her students how to create a Padlet instead of a poster.  The results were amazing!

As of October 12th, students and staff will be able to sign into NoodleTools using their email account.  The first time you log into a NoodleTools account using your email address, NoodleTools will assume you have an existing account.  You will be prompted to enter your Personal ID and Password from your existing NoodleTools account.  All of your projects will move over to the new 365 account.  Please contact your librarian for more information!

  • Don't forget you have to activate and assign Collections to each class
    • select NATIONAL COLLECTIONS
  • Did you know that if you click on Professional Learning you will have access to hundreds of videos and documents to help you grow or lead a PD session?
