  1. Go to
  2. If it asks for a password, it is on the bottom right corner of the PowerPoint slide.
  3. On the right side of the page under Biographies by Genre, scroll down and select Musicians 
  4. Choose what type of musician that you want to learn about (this you will put on your PPT slide in the type of musician box).
  5. Find an African American musician that sounds interesting to you.
  6. Complete the boxes on the PowerPoint slide.
  7. Add your citation-- rewatch the video if you need help remembering how to do that.
  8. Lastly, do a Google search to find 2 other websites that you can find information on this person.


If you have time, you can add colors, backgrounds or fun fonts.
